As you may be aware, on the 24th of February 2024, Bruker Corporation (Bruker) entered into a definitive share purchase agreement with PAI Partners to acquire ELITechGroup, with the expectation the transaction would be finalised in the first half of 2024.
As Bruker’s IVD product portfolio does not align with ELITechGroup’s Clinical Chemistry business, the Clinical Chemistry business is not part of the transaction, and ownership of this business remains with PAI Partners.
Prior to closing the share purchase agreement, the Clinical Chemistry business needs to be formally separated from ELITechGroup and established as a standalone entity under PAI Partners.
We are pleased to announce that the new name for the Clinical Chemistry business will be VitalScientific, effective 1st of May 2024.
The name change reflects the fact the Clinical Chemistry Business will become independent of ELITechGroup and will operate as a stand-alone business, focused on providing clinical chemistry solutions, as has been the case now for over 40 years.
VitalScientific will continue the mission of ELITech Clinical Chemistry to improve global healthcare by delivering high-quality, cost-efficient Clinical Chemistry benchtop solutions, benefiting healthcare providers and patients worldwide.

VitalScientific aspires to be a market leader and trusted ally in the benchtop Clinical Chemistry global market for better health outcomes and better life.
To facilitate the change to VitalScientific there will be a transition period to give you time to update current registrations or re-register products if required.
During this transition period, ELITechGroup will continue to be used as the Trading name. The names of the Legal Manufacturing entities and all packaging of instruments, reagents and consumables will not change.
Our bank accounts remain unchanged. Would you ever get a letter about a change of our bank account please always check with us personally via your regular contact.

To inform users of the changes during this transition phase, an adhesive label with the new VitalScientifc logo will be added to product packaging.
Once all the re-registrations are complete, packaging for all products will adopt the VitalScientific livery. VitalScientific will support you with an extensive marketing campaign to transfer the equity in the ELITechGroup franchise to VitalScientific.
We want to assure you that nothing else has changed. Product formulation/design, designation, and reference codes are the same, the places of manufacturing and the manufacturing organizations (people) are the same as well as our quality management systems.
VitalScientific, France will retain the ELITech Clinical Systems SAS Siret and RCS numbers (French registration numbers) and VAT number.
VitalScientific, The Netherlands will retain the ELITechGroup B.V. (CCI & RSIN) Chamber of Commerce Registration number and VAT number.
